Several appendices of the MIPI CSI-2 Specification specify how JPEG streams should be handled by a MIPI CSI-2 Receiver.
The Xilinx MIPI CSI-2 RX Subsystem v5.1 conforms to the specification and can support receiving JPEG streams.
However this specification does not define how the user will receive the JPEG data.
When working with the Xilinx MIPI CSI-2 RX Subsystem, the user will receive the full JPEG frame on the AXI-Stream interface.
Once the user has the full JPEG Frame, it is up to them to break up the JPEG frame into its defined parts.
Each frame will be separated by a SoF condition on the AXI interface.
EoL conditions can be ignored as the term "line" is not meaningful to JPEG, this only denotes that the source separated the JPEG frame data into multiple data bursts on the physical interface.
