The MIPI DSI TX Subsystem IP sends 0x0000 as a checksum (CRC) during the blanking period.
Is this expected behavior?
This is an expected behavior.
Sending CRC (checksum) is an optional features in the MIPI DSI specification. When CRC is not calculated, the CRC bytes are set to 0x0000.
The MIPI CSI-2 Transmitter Subsystem only calculates a checksum for active pixel data, not in the blanking period, so 0x0000 is sent as the CRC in blanking packets.
