Xilinx has introduced the Virtex® UltraScale+™ HBM VCU128 FPGA evaluation kit to enable the design of a compute acceleration platform, bringing unparalleled adaptability and performance.
Virtex UltraScale+ HBM devices, now in full production, are built upon the same building blocks used by the Xilinx 16nm UltraScale+ FPGA family and have integrated a proven HBM controller and memory stacks. The HBM DRAM memory bandwidth of one Virtex UltraScale+ HBM FPGA is up to 460GB/s delivered by two stacks of HBM Gen2 memory. Pairing one or two stacks of HBM2 with various sizes of FPGA logic (up to 2.85 million logic cells) and DSP slices (up to 9,024 DSP48E2 slices delivering 28.1 peak INT8 TOPs) allows users to choose the new HBM-enabled UltraScale+ family, enabling selection of an optimal combination of compute power and memory bandwidth/capacity for their applications.
This evaluation kit has everything you need to prototype your applications using Virtex UltraScale+ HBM FPGAs.
