The power supplies on the Virtex-6 FPGA ML605 Evaluation Kit are not designed to operate with high current draws on the Vccint rail.
If the current draw goes above 10.5 Amps on Vccint, the power regulators will over heat.
The TI power management chip then shuts off the rail to avoid damage to the FPGA at 80 C.
Customers should use added fans or heat sinks if it is necessary to push this rail past 10.5 Amps, and should always perform power analysis before loading a design onto the board.
