Logicore Peak Cancellation CFR (PC-CFR) v2.0 - I do not get the expected output for the PC-CFR when impulse is applied

描述

I am using the PC-CFR v2.0 core to apply peak cancelation reduction on both I and Q channels. To test the core, I provide an impulse as an input. I expect CFR to be applied to both I and Q channels. However, I am observing that only the Q channel was reduced. The I channel is unaffected. Why is this?

解决方案

Due to the nature behind CFR calculations, the core cannot apply CFR to an impulse response. The core will work correctly if the inputs to the core are more representative of real-time stimuli.

See the core's data sheet for more details.
