Board Installations

SDAccel™ applications are executed in hardware using one of the listed FPGA cards or boards.

You can develop and run applications using two or more computers: a development computer to develop applications, on which you must have SDAccel installed; and one or more deployment computers, to run applications on, inside of which you must have an FPGA accelerator board installed. Also, you can use a single computer to perform both development and deployment roles; both and SDAccel and an accelerator card must be installed.

The procedure for installing a hardware accelerator board on a host computer is provided here and includes instructions for using the xbinst board installation utility, and the Vivado® Design Suite, to install the board. When you install SDAccel, the xbinst utility, the Vivado Design Suite, and any required cable drivers are included.
